SAVE-the-DATE: AUG 16th VREC SHINDIG 2025 from 1-6p
seeking Veteran Artists , Crafters & Vendors
Veteran Resource and Enrichment Center (VREC) will host its 4th annual SHINDIG on August 16, 2025. It is a community-driven event designed to honor and celebrate the artistic expressions of
Veterans. By creating an inclusive and engaging space, this event aims to bridge-the-gap between Veterans and the local community, fostering a deeper understanding, awareness, and appreciation of their experiences through art. The community event will feature a curated art exhibit, live performances, interactive workshops, and storytelling sessions, all crafted by Veterans who use their creative talents as a means of expression and healing. We are seeking Veteran artists for this event with backgrounds in photography,
leatherwork, woodworking, fiber arts, paint and other craft areas to engage the community and to inspire participants to explore new mediums.
VREC will display community partner tables and host a craft-show
at SHINDIG.
